What started out as a whimsical piece of art, ended up carrying more meaning when I added this white feather. A feather carries no weight but can carry deep symbolism. It is a sign that we are not alone, that a spirit walks beside us. It is a symbol of freedom and can mark transformation. It’s the shedding of what no longer serves us and the courage to begin again. Maybe this is why I collect feathers and use them in my art.
