We often spend Christmas on Cape Cod. Sometimes the weather is beautiful, other times it is very cold. No matter what, we have a tradition of waking up on Christmas morning before sunrise and taking a cup of coffee down to the beach to watch the sunrise. Some sunrises are spectacular – others not so much. But it is a lovely way to start the day and it makes an afternoon nap quite appealing.
